There are many different types of dogs. Some are big and some are small. But no matter the size they all need attention and love. It is also useful to train your dog to not chase after other animals, including other dogs. Training them to not attack other humans is especially important. When you have a bigger dog they will need more food, which will increase the amount you have to pay. You will also need a bigger yard. If you have a small dog, it provides more opportunities. You can pay less for their food, and you can have a smaller yard. If you have a puppy you should keep a watchful eye on him. Like human babies, they are curious and dont know the danger of the world yet. Also they should be handled carefully, as they are still quite fragile, and given lots of attention. As your dog gets older he might not be as playful, and will sleep more. He will also most likely need to see the vet more as he gets older. The hardest part of owning a dog is when you have to give him away, or when he dies. There are many types of dogs, each one unique, but each one needing care.
